DESIGN

With sizes up to 2.75m x 3m, the roof lantern also elevates living spaces by flooding a room with natural light. The hard wearing aluminium exterior allows for versatile configurations in a variety of sizes, to suit the unique requirements of any space. With an excellent polyamide thermal break and powder-coated finish, the ultra-slim profiles of the roof lantern are also resistant to even the harshest of weather. INSTALLATION

The slim design of the roof lantern provides for smooth installation, simply screwing into place. With internal fixing and aluminium end caps, the roof lantern is a safe and secure option to also maximise daylighting. The neat finish allows for easy assembly, whilst the slim framing offers a premium, modern aesthetic.

UPSTAND REQUIREMENTS

Measure to external face of timber support. The Roof Lanterns are intended for installation onto a fully weathered and insulated builders upstand on flat and low pitched roofs. So, for aesthetic reasons we recommend that the upstand is build with 0 degree pitch (ie. not parallel with the pitched roof surface). The roof lantern can accommodate being installed on an upstand with a pitch of up to 5 degrees but please note this may result in a lopsided appearance.

SAFETY

To enhance safety, the roof lanterns are internally fixed as well as external fixing. Therefore, preventing any parts falling below and providing extra peace of mind of proper security.

GLASS

Standard glazing options include; Ambi Neutral & Ambi Blue. However, these glass options are available as either 1.0 U-value or 1.2 U-value for impressive energy efficiency. Each glass option are also UV resistant, providing extra protection from the suns rays.

Ambi-Neutral self-cleaning glass: For a more neutral tone, the Ambi-Neutral is the least tinted in the glass range, providing a natural look into the finished room. The glass reflects 60% of the sun’s solar heat, but additionally reducing the sun’s glare by 63%.

Ambi-Blue self-cleaning glass: this glass option comes in a delicate blue tint, offering up to 60% reflection from the sun’s rays and also a 53% reduction from glare.
