The Brett Martin 6 pane roof lantern is available made to order in a variety of standard sizings, ranging from 1500mm to 3000mm. Traditional 6 Pane lantern designs are also available in our range of standard sizings and glazing options.

DESIGN

The roof lantern has a simple design to increase the amount of daylight reaching a living area, however has been designed with maximum performance. By reducing the number of parts required and the need for sealants within the lantern, the lantern provides a simplified installation process for a low maintenance, weather tight solution.

INSTALLATION

The roof lantern is particularly popular for its ease of installation- which can be fitted in less than 25 minutes!

Easy-fit glass stops hook onto the kerb bar, simplifying the glazing process. Co-extruded gaskets on inner bars eliminates ‘gasket slip’ during installation, ensuring weathertight glazing while pre-machined holes and slots throughout maintain the integrity of the components and provide fast, easy assemby. The roof lantern also has precision castings at all junctions for premium appearance, strength, weatherproofing and security.

UPSTAND REQUIREMENTS

The Roof Lanterns are intended for installation onto a fully weathered and insulated builders upstand on flat and low pitched roofs. So, for aesthetic reasons we recommend to build with 0 degree pitch (ie. not parallel with the pitched roof surface). It can be installed on an upstand pitch of up to 5 degrees but may result in a lopsided appearance. For more details, please see our installation guide or pitch requirements.
